In the fight for equality, we've seen multiple instances where actions speak louder than words, this is why CDPBC, California Democratic Party Black Caucus, has decided to join the Yes on Prop 16 Campaign. We hear it on the streets "Enough is enough", we are done talking about it and are ready to take action to make sure that everyone of us has an Equal Opportunity. Overturning the ban on Affirmative Action is a giant leap in the right direction to making sure this happens.

We will be hosting a series of virtual text banks for Yes On Prop 16 and want you to join us on! We will start with a text bank training on Sept 19th and kick it off with a "September to Remember" text bank on Sept. 21st.
A few things to note: We will be using a platform called ThruText to send texts to California voters. No sending texts from your phone! You will just need a tablet, desktop, or laptop, and the internet.
We will be using Zoom to stay connected during our text bank!
We also will use an instant messaging platform called Slack to ask questions and communicate with campaign staff. The day before the event Yes On Prop 16 campaign staff will add you the Opportunities4All account and the #volunteer_text_banking channel.
